"Spare Change"

This work deals not only with questions prompted by the end of the real estate bubble, but also of a human being’s autonomy within his current circumstances. As spectators we find ourselves in the human beings captured in drawings and photographs, heightened by a disturbing element that redefines the image and brings a new interpretation to the portrait. The humans in the images are thus converted into ‘spare change’.
